Straight Up Education
Straight Up Education is a results-driven rehabilitation programme that supports high school students at risk of exclusion to successfully return to mainstream education. We use the power of lived experience—credible role models who understand the journey—to inspire real, lasting change.
We empower young people to shatter barriers and seize their education with the unfiltered force of lived experience. We embed personal responsibility, resilience and community connection; supporting individuals to take ownership of their development and future opportunities.

Our approach was developed and successfully delivered in North Wales, in partnership with Local Education Authorities across six counties. This established track record demonstrates the effectiveness of our model in supporting positive outcomes for young people. We are now expanding this work into Greater Manchester and Liverpool through a strategic partnership with Global Education CIC.
This collaboration enables us to respond to identified needs within local student populations by embedding our proven, lived-experience-led programme within existing educational frameworks. By extending our reach into areas such as Trafford and Salford, we aim to scale our impact—supporting more young people to develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to take ownership of their futures.
