Elizabeth Biggs

Elizabeth Biggs is a consultant, qualified educator, and business owner specialising in operational compliance, training implementation, and vocational education. Appointed to the Board of Directors in April 2026, she brings a practical background in multi-department management, internal compliance auditing, and adaptive educational delivery.

Elizabeth has practised photography for nineteen years, establishing her commercial practice in 2016 and expanding into professional training and consultancy in 2021. Her management foundation was built at Mitchells & Butlers, where she held accountability for statutory and operational compliance across a high-volume, multi-department £1M+ annual turnover venue. Managing a team of over 40 personnel, she was responsible for operations and policy implementation, stock and labour management, financial reconciliation and tracking, and food, fire, health and safety. Deployed as a regional trainer across multiple North West venues, she audited compliance gaps, reviewed financial discrepancies, trained venue managers to self-audit using internal software, and implemented missing staff training and induction documentation.

Her background in inclusive education spans domestic delivery and international training. She spent five years as a sessional climbing coach for OnThisROC CIC in Liverpool, delivering a rehabilitation programme, community and schools sessions, and mixed-ability coaching including disability access, coaching two athletes to international and Paralympic selection and sight-guiding a blind climber onto the GB Para-Climbing Team.

Internationally, she has delivered training through established charities across Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Botswana, travelling to 16 locations across Malawi to train 800 educators and community leaders and developing tools and materials the organisation adopted for ongoing use.

Elizabeth holds a BA (Hons) 2.1 in Applied Theology from the University of Gloucestershire, specialising in youth work and cross-cultural studies, alongside a VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training. Diagnosed with dyslexia at university, she had achieved straight A's through school before anyone identified it.

Prior to joining the board, she taught NEET learners, SEND students, and young people with complex needs at Global Make Up, Hair & Productions Academy Ltd, alongside project sprints in team training, HR compliance, and systems management during a period of commercial growth. Her governance approach is defined by absolute precision for detail and a commitment to supporting mental health, identity development (personal, community, cultural, and organisational), and vocational financial independence, grounded in counselling training, coaching certification, and over two decades of pastoral and community education work alongside personal experience of navigating education without formal diagnosis.
